Can adults enjoy the Liberty Science Center?
Twice a month on Thursdays, the Liberty Science Center transforms into an adults-only hangout. Located at 222 Jersey City Boulevard in Jersey City and known as LSC After Dark, these themed parties take over the usually kid-friendly museum and guests can enjoy drinks, dancing, laser shows, and so much more.
Is there free parking at Liberty Science Center?
Parking. Cars: The parking lot is owned by the state of New Jersey and operated by a private company. LSC does not receive parking revenue. The fee for cars and vans during the day is $7.00.
How long does it take to get through the Liberty Science Center?
Plan at least 3 hours. There is lots to see and read and you don’t want to feel rushed. The movies and the “Bodies Revealed” exhibits take time and patience.
What ages are good for Liberty Science Center?
Families with children ages 6 months and up have a blast at LSC. Live animals, huge tanks of fish, great hands-on exhibits, and plenty of space to run around make this the fastest growing science center in the nation.
Is Scitech good for adults?
Yes, Scitech is for everyone! We’re an all ages Science Centre. There’s plenty to do, see and experience for all. For adults visiting without children, we particularly recommend checking out a Planetarium show, our current feature exhibition and our newest gallery, Kaartadjin Koorliny.
Can I bring water into Liberty Science Center?

Recommended for KS2 and KS3 (ages 7-11). Experience over 50 hands-on exhibits, live experiments at the Chemistry Bar, lightning demos at the giant Tesla coil, and meet our brilliant Explainers who help to facilitate engagement.
What are the disadvantages of SCI?

Can you take food into Scitech?
Yes! Tables and chairs are available in the City Views eating area, where there is also a water fountain. We highly encourage all of our visitors to consider the environment and use reusable food containers and water bottles where possible.
Do you have to book to go to Scitech?
Categories. Tickets to Scitech can be purchased at the door, however we strongly encourage online ticket orders to secure your attendance and avoid any disappointments.
Are backpacks allowed at Statue of Liberty?
Yes. Backpacks, strollers and large bags are permitted inside the Statue of Liberty Museum and Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration. On Liberty Island, lockers are located adjacent to the secondary security screening building for a small fee.
Can you bring food to Liberty Island?
Those with reservations to the pedestal, the stone base that the Statue of Liberty sits on top of, must secure the following items in a locker: ALL FOOD & DRINKS (except water in a clear plastic bottle) ALL BACKPACK-STYLE BAGS (including over-sized bags, drawstring bags, and backpack purses)
Do I need to wear a mask at the Science museum?
In line with Government guidance, wearing a face covering at the museum isn’t compulsory. We encourage mask wearing, particularly at busy times, so that everyone feels welcome and safe during their visit. We ask you to make contactless payments where possible.
Do students drink at liberty?
At Liberty, this detachment can start to feel literal. New students pledge to follow the Liberty Way: no having sex outside of marriage, no listening to music with lewd lyrics, no drinking.
Is liberty a dry school?
Liberty prohibits the consumption of alcohol for all students while on campus. Even off campus, students cannot possess or consume alcohol.
